Yonder House began with modest ambitions. A weekly gathering of friends, to drink all the beer in town and record music. It wasn't very long after the first session that they realized they had something very, very special. A kind of chemistry that doesn't come around often, and also cannot be fabricated.
In December of 2016, Matthew Fosket, Jason Ehrlich, Donnie Vizzini, and TJ Smith began work on the eponymous Yonder House. By the end of 2017, the group had written and recorded over 25 songs. The finished album is a 12 song work of collaboration and story-telling. From opening chord to last it is a nostalgic, familiar, and singular work. It succeeds as an accumulation from four artists who love each other as much as they do their music.
